My guest this week is a man of many talents. He’s provided the beat behind a number of Billy Childish musical projects, including the Buff Medways and Musicians of the British Empire and played in numerous other bands such as the Daggermen, the Solar Flares, JTQ and Graham Day and the Forefathers. As a poet and storyteller and has written a number of books such as ‘Sadness Sits Waiting In The Strangest of Places’, ‘When Tramps Wore Suits’ and ‘Journals of a Jobseeker’. As a painter and pinhole photographer, his work has graced the walls of art galleries all over the world and, along with Charles Thomson and the aforementioned Billy Childish, he co founded the Stuckist Movement. Whenever he is asked ‘What do you do, work wise, he always replies, “Nothing. I retired when I left school. I have found my vacation in life”. Via the magic of Zoom, Glenn Prangnell catches up with Mister Wolf Howard.
