Episode 34 Let’s Talk About...Chris Broderick

On the 2nd of January 2022, we lost one of our finest lyricists and creative forces, Chris Broderick. In this 1 hour special, Glenn Prangnell pays tribute to the Singing Loins frontman and plays some of their best loved tunes. In the second half of the programme, Glenn is joined by musician and songwriter Stuart Turner, to talk about the projects they were working on just prior to Chris's death, including a lyric book, an album, 'The Earth's Rotation' by their band Pod, and a song suite '...And One Red Mitten', inspired by a list of clothes and belongings found upon Catherine Eddowes, the fourth victim of the Whitechapel Murderer, to be performed on 30th April in the crypt at Rochester Cathedral.
